Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions

“Photographer” refers to Huangtography and its related business associates.

“Client” refers to the person or entity booking the services.

“Services” are all photography services provided, including shoots, light editing, and delivery of final images.

“Deliverables”may include all digital images, prints, and related media provided to the Client.
2. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Photographer and the Client, superseding any prior arrangements. Any amendments must be made in writing by both parties. If any clause is deemed invalid, the remainder stays in effect.

A deposit (minimum 50%) is required to secure the date.

The remaining balance is due by a specified date before the shoot.

Quoted prices are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Late payments may incur interest or result in cancellation.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

If the Client cancels with notice (e.g., more than 8 weeks ahead), the deposit is non-refundable, serving as liquidated damages.

If the event is postponed and the Photographer is available, the booking may shift without additional deposit; otherwise, a new deposit applies.

The Photographer may cancel due to illness or emergencies and will refund all amounts paid.
5. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, or sudden health issues.
6. Client Responsibilities & Safety

The Client must provide accurate information regarding schedule, location, and access.

The Photographer reserves the right to terminate the shoot if they face unsafe, threatening, or unlawful conditions.

No liability for missed shots due to obstructions, delays, or venue restrictions.
7. Deliverables & Archiving

Final images will be delivered in agreed format (e.g., high-res JPGs) within a specified timeframe.

The Photographer retains rights to originals and backups for a limited retention period (e.g., 3 months), after which storage is not guaranteed.
8. Intellectual Property & Usage

Copyright remains with the Photographer under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

The Client is granted a non-exclusive licence for personal or specified use only.

Any commercial, editorial, or otherwise extended usage requires additional agreement and permission.

Any alteration of images (e.g., filters, edits) is prohibited without written permission.
-
The Photographer may use images for self-promotion across media unless explicitly restricted.
9. Model Release
The Client grants the Photographer permission to use images for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Liability Limitation

Liability is limited to the total fee paid.

No liability for indirect, special, consequential, or economic losses.

In the event of professional negligence, the Photographer may offer retakes or refunds at their discretion.
11. Personal Injury & Equipment

The Photographer carries appropriate public liability insurance.

The Client is responsible for ensuring a safe environment during shoots.

The Photographer is not liable for injury or damage arising from the Client’s negligence.
12. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the appropriate courts.
13. Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Privacy Policy.
14. Severability & Waivers
If any clause is invalid, the rest remains effective. A waiver of any provision does not imply waiver of others.
