About Tom Huang
I landed on this planet over 40 years ago and have spent most of my adult life exploring the British Isles. Since 2009, I’ve been based between Cambridge and London—two cities that now feel like home.
My journey has taken me from a half-lost teenager to a family man (we welcomed our first child in 2025!), and along the way, photography has become my passion and purpose. I specialise in capturing real, unscripted emotions—whether it’s a wedding, a family event, or a candid portrait session.

Cameras
I shoot exclusively with Nikon cameras, I have started using their cameras when I was 17. I have a good selection of lens, covering 24mm all the way to 135mm.
My Style
As a documentary-style photographer based between Cambridge and London, I focus on capturing real, honest moments. I believe the most powerful images are born from genuine emotion—not posed or directed, but spontaneous and true to the moment.
Using a 135mm lens, I work from a comfortable distance, allowing you and your guests to stay fully present without feeling the presence of the camera. This approach is especially valuable in wedding photography and event coverage, where the most meaningful moments often happen in between the planned ones.
